What lurks in the dark?
For my recent birthday, my husband bought me a solar wifi trail camera.
I’ve had it a few days and have trialled it in our garden every night since getting it. We have not had the greatest of success, which I now put down to the fact that I put it in the wrong area. I put it in a spot which our dog Millie frequents to use the loo… so it has probably acted as a deterrent to all the local wild life.
We did have one sighting on the first night… a possum but it was brief and we only caught the tail end. But last night, I moved the camera to a different area in the garden and we captured something quite unexpected!
I cannot wait to see what other animals come out at night in our garden!
But the neighbours better watch out! They have chickens and that little fox looked awfully hungry!!
Where do the birds go when it is windy?
The weather has been windy lately.
When it is windy, I do not know where the birds go…
I’ve been a little disheartened lately with my bird photography. Partly due to the lack of birds, but also due to the lack of sharpness in some of my shots. For every good photo I take, there are at least 20 or more bad ones…
