I am a narrative photographic artist based in Sydney.
I have been blessed to have experienced some of Australia’s most genuine people and rugged landscapes; having spent time working and volunteering in remote communities, in the East Kimberley and North East Arnhem Land.
It was whilst in Arnhem Land, listening to the quiet song of the stringy barks and watching a meteor shower that I had a moment of clarity; and, in that moment I realised that there is beauty that goes far deeper than the aesthetic, there is an honesty and wisdom that exists, a universal truth that all can relate to.
Creating images of the natural world, my work is an exploration of the innate spiritual connection I have with the land. I feel that we take very little time to enjoy the quiet moments, it is easy to lose ourselves in the "noise". I want to be free from the noise, encapsulated in a time and place that is authentic and ageless - capturing those special moments to share with you.
