I missed the aurora!

Even writing the words hurts me… but all I can say is, maybe next time?

Saturday I forgot and was so tired and then I went out on Sunday and Monday and got nothing. Sunday I saw nothing, Monday I saw clouds. My husband saw a shooting star and felt really chuffed by that! I did threaten him with, “you’ll need to take me to the arctic circle to see the lights now”. He thinks I’m joking….

I recently bought a ‘new’ old Nikon 300m F4 lens.

I bought it with the aim of taking bird photos.

We have so many birds in our garden that I thought it might be a fun way to get back into the swing of my photography. I’ve only just started using the lens but I absolutely love it! It renders images so beautifully.
